G'day everyone, I'm in Perth Western Australia and fingers crossed will be taking delivery of the new Fatboy Lo next month-January. whenever it arrives to Frasers.

A long with a few other changes I want to put the Std Fatboy chrome rims on the Lo. So here I am asking if their is anyone out there getting a new Std Fatboy roughly the same time and would like my Black rims. A straight swap. While they are brand new still.

If your keen then we can organise a time to meet up at Frasers and take it from there. Or pm me for any further discussions.

    Cheers.

Yeah that was the first thing I asked but they aren't interested at all. They say they won't be able to sell them on?
So I thought I'd put it out there to see what reponse I got. Frasers are aware that I want to do the swap so they are seeing what they can do and mentioning it to anyone who might want to swap but no bites yet?? I have a little time, see how I go. Or the black rims might just grow on me?? Maybe : )

    Cheers.

do you want the starndard fatboy wheels or are you after the chrome wheel option?, the chrome wheel option is another $520 approx, and you would need to talk to your dealer to see if they will put these on, sure they would if you told them nicely that you will take your business elsewhere if they don't.

Got to get the bike first, they seam to tell you a date when you order the bike but from experience the date arrives and the bike dosent. Mine was early November then late November now before Christmas but honestly not expecting anything till the new year now

think you'll have trouble finding anyone to swap your black wheels for some chrome ones, as the chrome ones are a $500 odd upgrade option over and above the standard price off a fatty, even if they are on the bike in the showroom, the price has been adjusted up already when the salesman tells you that low low price,

good luck with your seach though

I would have to agree the black wheels don't look that good, (pictures) but then again maybe they look better in the real world.
