hey guys.

i have a nightster and want to put a set of short shot vance and hines and tune it, but a mate of mine who had a sportster is telling me that if i buy a pc3, whilst it will make the bike run better, it will have to do diagnostics checks every time the bike starts up and this can take 30 kms to happen and run properly.

As i travel 2 and a half kilometers to work, obviously this would not be good. He tells me that unless i get the thundermax and a full tune, the pc3 will do the diagnostics every time it starts up and i will never unleash the bikes potential unless im going on a big ride.

is this true at all? I thought once you put it in it is good to go.

Is your mate a tmax rep by anychance,seriously though i have had the pcIII on my scoot (nightster)for 5weeks now and it runs smooth as from go to whoa picked up few extra ponies and torque never been better best 450 buks ive spent
