Finally got the Iron over enough to scrape but I must have been too careful before because I didn't feel I was laying it over that hard. They touch down way too soon but I don't know how much you could grind off the feelers (with a grinder or more road use) before the muffler and side stand would scrape. Has anyone fiddled with this? There are enough Nightsters around that someone must have addressed this by now.
TAFFY!
You still got them damn ugly feelers on?
They gots ta go!!
And when you scrape the muffler and stand then you can think you are really cornering hard......as long as you have not ridden a sports bike in ,like, for ever.....
Seriously the cornering clearance is laughable, but to me it is all part of the appeal, and for a real laugh, try riding a Low ( I find my wifes bike endlessly amusing).
Cheers
Nope.
Huge difference, to the point where my wife is unable to ride my bike (Oh dear...)
The rear shocks are two inches longer on the Iron on the Aus spec model.
Oh,and the Low seat is a different shape and has almost NO padding!!
Really is harsh over any kind of bumps, but the Ikon shocks improve things to some degree.
