BTW it was a stinker here yesterday and and there was so much heat coming off the engine it was burning my arms and face like a fan heater! I actually took a good look to make sure it wasn't on fire. The temp light didn't come on so I guess it's normal enough.
too much rake on it,dont mind it on this nightster though and a sweet as bobber nightster
Got to go with the consensus, Taffy.....trying to make a cruiser out of a bike that's not meant to be a cruiser.
To much rake. Dont like it.
the iron might look ok without the big ass seat and back rest
OK OK OK I'll come clean. Maybe I meant weird instead of cool. The Nightster on the other hand definitely looks the goods IMHO.
hi i bet you don't ride it over 100 klms, because if you do you would end up on your arse , with - trail like that rake out trees are shit . nothing's not much new in motorbikes it's all been done before they banded raked tree's in the 70's , now it's back again i would like to see you go fast on it , esp with a movie camera on board , lol , how fast have you been ? cheers
Wow the second one looks unreal. Hey what pipes are on both of those?
Really like this, would love to build a sporty.
I imagine there was a frame modification required to adjust the rake for those forks. The nightster and iron make good bobbers - I've seen a few good jobs (and a few bad ones). I like the fatboy lo, but bobbers and bombers is where its at for me at the moment. Maybe a fatboy lo in a few years and then move onto a geezer glyde when I hit 60. But in my opinion, nothing looks the goods like a mean bobber.
That nightster is very similar to mine.
I like the rake on the nightster but I feel it lacks one final thing. The front wheel needs to be different or maybe just the tyre.
Do you notice how the front end of the frame is pointing down, I feel that is a small flaw in the design concept which would be righted by a thicker tyre. (by thicker I don't mean wider, I mean thicker from the wheel rim to the top of the tyre). A thicker tyre would give the bike a pure bobber feel - no extra work required)
Have you seen those thick AVON tyres with the zig zag tread. They use them on those Deus bikes. I would consider the 14 degree rake kit if I could get a nice fat chunky lookin AVON tyre. I wonder if you could get one to fit to the stock rim.
So many crew use Vance and Hines short shots. They are certainly a good lookin pipe but because so many people put them on, they have become standard fare. The Jazz man will be interested to see the bike in HDuty. I'm thinking - How badly could someone screw up.
Ah the JD bike is the one in HD Mag. Let me choose the right word to describe it - How about "POX". And perhaps a word to describe the pea brained pin head who came up with the design - How about "TURD".
Black V and H pipes - Good one einstein E = Fuck off squared
The seat - whats that a Le Pera - big deal
The bars - give me a break
The shocks - Nothin
The paint - worst
The wheels - What the!!!
Air cleaner - the only good thing on the bike
If I saw a guy riding that bike around town I'd give him the finger
The Jazz Mans coolness rating - 1 out of 10 - for the air cleaner
