I love the drive from Brisbane to Cairns . The changes in the country side are fantastic . The lush bush and farm lands around the north coast, the hillier pineapple areas around Maryborough ,the pretty towns of Childers and Gin Gin, the wooded cattle areas around Gladstone and Rocky, the neatness of the cane fields Sarina, Mackay, Prossy, the dry swamp appearance of Bowen. Then the where the fuck am I ,Death valley , feeling as you drive into and out of Townsville. Then onto the Tropical, Green,
Beautiful, Real North Queensland. It's one of the best drives.
