Popping Question

This is no doubt one of those stupid questions i will regret but  here goes.

I cannot seem to reduce the popping  by playing with the decel tables in SEST on my Fatbob  2x1 VH . If it is caused by unspent fuel igniting in the pipes as i understand from what i read, what happens if i adjust the table down so theres no fuel (0) when it decels. No fuel =no popping. I am not sure about what else happens tho. Overheating?bike stops?too much engine braking? As i said a dumb question but i am curious as i thought i may be able to reduce it to 0 and no popping , then start increasing the table until it reaches the point of just popping then back off a fraction and it should be right

Have smart tuned and it changed a few VE cells but popping is really annoying and  occasional backifre when changing gears (no doubt from closing the throttle as i change)

    Cheers

Thats a couple of suggestions to actually add fuel ,  i  will try it and see. Will also reduce the timing as suggested thanks.

Played with the decel enleanment table this arvo. Increasing the fuel made it  sound like a shotgun in a drum so that didnt work :) I started reducing fuel  and reduced popping a fair bit but it is still there, changed tables from .344 out to .602.Is there any problem going further? the higher the number the leaner it gets at closed throttle from what i know

    cheers

Have you dropped the idle down, as in the map I sent you ?

Did you change the exhaust gaskets ?

It's amazing how two identical bikes can be so different.

How easy did you find the smart tune ?, Was there much change in maps ?

I am either pissed or losing it  , lol probably both. You sent me a map ?  i dont recall that, ,  I did drop the idle  , mmnn so it could be Brenden?, exhaust gaskets only have 2k on them looked brand new , idles really sweet at 954,  I tihnk i have been remapping too much  and getting myself confused with what i am doing. I reloaded a base map form the tuner, (176AE106) copied the AFR from the bought map across to it, adjusted the idle, increased the decel to .6ish.  runs strong but still pops more than i would like. smart tune runs are not changing any cells. starting to think  this stuff is best left to a tuner dyno person type of guy  lol, and i might stick to wrenching and kicking tyres

Its running strong and good i think Speedzster, I didnt quite get to 180 lol about 150 with plenty of pull left, its the popping annoying me, with Scotty kindly on the case i am sure it can be sorted tho. checked the exhaust flanges, sensors no leaks anywhere
