Lisa, Birch, Jerry etc,
Finally got some photos. This thing is an absolute rocket now. The dealer claimed none of these performance bits will be redundant if I go for the 1200 conversion as well, and he claimed not a big twin on the road could get near it then. Famous last words, but I can't imagine why you would do the upgrade considering how hot it feels now and the sound is perfect. Can't stop blipping the throttle everywhere just to hear it. At idle it has does that lurching thing that sounds like it's about to stall but never does. Maybe a bit too ratted out with the black mufflers - it probably looked better with the black heat shields but the chrome mufflers. Regardless, IMHO the world's best beach cruiser. I could go on...
Bike looks awesome with the all black pipes, air cleaner, and the mirrors under the bars. Great looking ride.
Nice ride
Geez! About time!!
Looks great Taffy.
But, Man you gotta lose those reflectors and footpeg doiks (all in the interest of lowering weight to improve handling of course.....).
So what is next on the list? I am considering my options, but am pretty happy with the way it is now.
BTW Are the pipes much louder than stock, and likely to attract unwanted attention in your opinion?
great looking bike
ive said myself thats enough for extras a few times now its hard to stop
cheers
nice scoot champ as they say once u go black you never go back
Hey Taffy it looks shit Hot!! Congrats
Just wondering if you could post a pic with the detachable rack on the back before XMass as i would like to get it for the cook (as a surprise) but not sure what it looks like
Cheers Fatcat68
ahhhh bikini
ah yes and its mighty fine aswell. lol
Nice bag too Oz. I'm looking for something similar but a solo bag like the Licks which as far as I know you can't get here. Any idea? What is yours?
FINALLY scraped the footpegs cornering. I must have been pretty tentative before because I reckon I wasn't over all that far when it started grinding. Definitely happens too soon but dunno how much you could take off the feelers before the muffler or side stand hit. One way to find out I guess...
