G'day everyone, just thought I would give a plug to a great event on the 17th May at the Dungog Showground.
The event has been held the last few years at Stroud but a new venue was needed to accommodate the Demo Derby. There will also be a bike, hot rod, mini ute and tattoo show on the Saturday. Camping on site with food, drink and hot showers. There will be trade displays and bands including the Chicago Blues Band, Black Label and Damaged Goods. $1200 in prizes for the burnout comp, $500 for the wet T-shirt comp, and cash and prizes for all the show catagories. No Glass, No BYO, No dogs, grog will be at club prices on site.
The rally is run in aid of CYSTIC FIBROSIS and organised bt the Central Coast American Motorcycle Club.
G'day RKC, $20 gets you in including camping, you might be able to hook up with the South Coast AMC or the Southern Highlands AMC and ride up with them as both Chapters will have members going to the event..
Singleton is about an hour from Dungog.
That RK gets along, at that rate you would have to be a chance at takin out the burnout comp.
Darkash, yes I will be there, leavin the Sunny Coast, Qld 4am Friday and straight through, the Friday night was always a good one at Stroud and I can't see it being any different at Dungog. Alot of my mates from the Central Coast will be there Friday and they can play that night, Saturday they have a rally to run.
on the home straight now, weather report looks reasonable but then again what would they know, that weather reporting has to be the best job because you can get it wrong for weeks at a time and never get the sack..
Wish I could make it. You can't get a much better cause than the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Bloody terrible disease, which one of my work-mates kids has.
