I'm allways up for a blast if the dates don't clash with work (shift worker), count me in.

As long as I can get my bike running good by then I'll come. Not sure at this stage if I'll be able to do the over-nighter as kid's birthday in on the 27th.

Crap, that's a 12 hr day shift for me and another on the Sunday. Have a great run and I'll try for the next one.

Recon we are overdue for another HD Forum blast too, but I'm out . Been despatched to NZ for the week with work.

I'm keen on doing an overnight ride, but I'm down south near Mount Gambier.

Here is an invite to stay in Nelson. I've only got a 2 bedroom shotgun shack but it's 100m from the Glenelg River, a quick ride to the river mouth, the ocean and the pub. There are 2 ways to get here from Adelaide, via the coast and the inland road and both are the same length. You could ride one way down and the other way back. It's a big block and I can organise swags etc. and a garage for bikes. I'm a chef so you are guaranteed gourmet food. I know a few riders in Vic. who would enjoy meeting and riding with some South Aussies.

Just an idea for the future.

I rekon it's just a matter of timing, I'm still pretty keen on doing it we've just got to arrange a date that suits more people.

Just noticed this post, Caltowie is not far from my neck of the woods and I'm off that weekend, maybe I could come for a spin and meet some of you blokes. Any women attending as my partener will be on the back. We were looking on the Internet for somewhere to stay over the weekend and were looking at Clare. However we do have a farewell show back home so maybe just a day trip for us............TC

Can't go on any long rides at the moment first service booked in for 12 may done 900 already don't want to go to much over 1500 before its first service once its done though, i'm up for a ride most times, get a bit bored riding on my own don't know many with bikes . Actually thought just hit me i'm supposed to be going to pt broughton for the long weekend so depending what day if any its happenning i could go there the long way rnd ha ha , only snag is it would have to be on my vulcan . let me know cos i have to get 2 tyres and get it registered. Unless of course no one wants too be seen with a jap criuiser. ha ha , Let me know whats happening will have to book it in for tyres i could go frd and carry on to broughton sat.

True , but i don't want to leave it in the garage for a couple off weeks after .They probably would'nt bother too much if theres a few k's extra on it , but my experience with both cars and bikes is don't give dealers or manufacturas any excuse whats so ever to void a warranty..

 

Yep sounds good to me as long im not studying at tafe what about easter or is it to busy on the roads then for everyone. WE could go sat and sun that way most of the traffic would be gone same as when we come back. As for the destination im not to fussed it would be a great chance for a few of us to put names to faces. Ok stay safe out there.
