True Track

After reading in Heavy Duty mag about the True track and the way it helps out the handling, I priced a set from Mackay Motorcycles who is the aussie distribututor. Got a real shock when they said that the price was $749.00.

Given that the manufacturer is selling them for US$305 I could not justify to myself why the markup was so fucking huge, did they buy a lot of stock when the aussie dollar was 50 cents to the US, or is Mackay wanting a new boat.

My question is, is it worth the money for the true track system? and is there somewhere where I can get it without paying for someone's vacation.

The true track is cheap for what it does.
Its when ya price a decent set of shocks that you'll find out what exxy is, Ohlins HD219 $2300
But it handles a fair bit better with both attached.

Thanks for the advice, got onto M and M Cycles and the True Track is on its way, how can Aussie distributors expect to survive when they charge exorbitant prices for gear your can get from the internet a lot cheaper.
