Strangly I like the look of the muscle, any experiences of them? What are they like to ride? reviews are a bit mixed.

I've got one of those them there Street Rods (VRSCR) bought it new in 06 (Night Rod Special was not about or probably would have ended up with the special) also have riden both the Night Rod Special and the Muscle, I like the look of the Night Rod Special - "killer styling" but have to say more pleasurable ride on the muscle (personal opinon only) , seems to be smoother in the gearing ratios and liked the ride position over the Night Rod.

Also one of the club members was at Frasers a few weeks ago and had a Muscle, had just put some cams in it and had it on the dyno, 125hp at the trye from the dyno sheet he showed, he was very taken with it.

Ride them both and decide, but the  VRod engine is a magic bit of machinery regardless of what model / style you decide.

is there any easy mod for the exhaust location? As it (from the pics at least) does not really look any different from the other variants.... Otherwise the bike is very attractive

I love my muscle  ive fitted tab performance mufflers and removed the cats also fitting the stage 2 engine kit really like the feal of the bike and handleing aspects of it still got heaps planned for it as for the V&H pipe didnt like it finished right under my ear gave me headacre on long rides

Good one Philthy.  When I first saw pics of the Muscle I didn't like it, but having seen one in the flesh it looks much better.  I've seen a few on the street lateley and I've become a fan.

from what iv been told the muscle rod handles much better than the nightrod or vrod as it has less rake in the front end, as for seating position i think the vrod still has the best, the muscle and nightrod you are leaning forward more but burliegh bars make better bars for the muscle rod already
