    G'day. Bought an 09 Muscle 2 weeks ago, only 1300kms and a bit of chrome and V & H 2-1 comp pipe.
Exhaust is a bit loud and comes right under the helmet but can put with it for the pure pleasure!!
Wicked handling and performance but might hafta get cams and 28T pully to get into the 11s at drags.
    Anyone else raced one?

I have owned my VRSCF Muscle just over a week - it now has 824km on the odometer. My impressions - WOW! for want of a better expression. One minus - the ABS warning light has decided to stay on. Warranty issue! Otherwise - what a fantastic bike.
It is heavier than I prefer but once rolling you don't notice the weight. Biggest thing for teh first 50km or so was lifting my feet FORWARD to the controls! I am so used to rearsets - Rizoma mid-mounts look lovely but the price! The seat gets rather hard after 100km or so (I usually stop about then for a smoke:)
Fuel consumption.....yes, it uses fuel. My local servo attendants know me by my first name now. Still running it in so it's up and down the gears and gradually increase throttle opening (I haven't taken it over 6000rpm yet - but what a rush when the engine goes over 5000! Brakes are excellent - smooth, progressive...very un Harley-ish! Exhaust and inatke will remain standard for now - I actually don't mind the woofle - airbox makes a bit of a racket when you rev it.....suggestions as to changes welcome! Though V&H slip-ons do not impress me. Does anyone in Oz make any similar sort of slip-on? I have a friend who is a mechanical engineer and a petrol head - he is desigining a 2into 1 for me....
There is a lot of alloy to polish! My neighbour is a concert standard pianist, I enjoy sitting out back cleaning the bike and listening to him practise.
Next buy will be a hydraulic bike lifter - that will make life easier to clean it/check oil etc. I will be most interested

    Hey JCT
I sourced some TAB's locally for mine they sound awesome! (Even a postie stopped when I pulled up and said he heard it coming and it sounded great). They have a big deep rumbling sound. Enjoy I have had mine since June.

Dr Hog - I have found the same place that sells TAB pipes - they look good, and sound good in the video. They were prompt and ctually helpful with their response to my query. While I'm about it I may take the header pipes off and get them ceramic powder coated - they appear to be stainless but look like crap under the heat shields
