Guys I have an Iron 883 and am waiting on SE mufflers. I though at the first service I'd upgrade the air filter. I'm favouring the Heavy Breather but mostly because it looks so raw. I think it performs better than the Stage 1 as well (the dealer said it would add 8 horsepower) but it's expensive. Any comments? Thanks everyone.

Gday skull just out of curiosity how much is the heavy breather from m&m?

Taffymarsden, I was told by harley spanner that on 883 both filters are supplying  more than enough air for this capacity engine and that the heavy breather was more of a visual  thing . I have full SE stage1 with ignition module pipes aircleaner and mikuni and she flys having said that i reckon the heavy breathers look the business.

Went ahead and ordered the Heavy Breather today, getting fitted Thu. Kit $500, chip $700 plus couple of hours labour. Gulp! Have to take it to the dealer to get the SE mufflers fitted anyway so couldn't be bothered mucking around with importing something. I'd better keep this bike a long time. Also I haven't figured out how to tell the missus yet...

SE mufflers, Heavy Breather and SE Pro Super Tuner fitted?
