G,day all , i'm a newbie from Wagga  nsw .bought myself an 09 heritage from Frasers@ newcastle last month and figure with my first service i need to add some noise . My problems are -what system sounds nice (i like the look of V&H double barrel longs).   and what systems fit my bike and what  i can  afford. I'm told by the dealers that i'd be drazy not to also buy a high flow kit and a supertuner because the bike will run hot and lean.  I can buy these items from a dealer and have them installed for about  $2300  ,or buy them online and install them myself  (dynojet power commander , not supertuner) for $1700.. Can a novice install this gear ?

Welcome. I would look at a stage one screaming eagle air cleaner kit and pipes. Mastertune would be my choice.

I have V&H double barrel longs on my 08 Fatboy the sound good not to loud but enough to know what bike it is and I also got the SERT & HiFlo filter it woke the bike up well and truley it performs great well great for me anyway

yeah thanks for the input on my muffler issue. I've booked the heritage in @ phils garage in albury on friday  to get  s&s mufflers, hi-flow kit and SE? supertuner fitted. I'm wonderin though if i have to take the mufflers off for any reason can i do the flow adjustments myself with the supertuner software or do i have to take it back to the shop?
