Looking around for a 59-65 Pan for a restoration project. In no particular hurry (in fact the longer the better - might not want to start until early 09).

Seems like a lot of dodgy vendors out there on the internet.

Where to go? Or is it just wait and be patient.

I have seen multiple postings with what seems to be a scam sale sub-AUD5K 65 pan for sale. One supposedly located in Newcastle, the other (same bike) in Kalgoorlie. Bike is allegedly in Italy and will be released on payment held by a third party. GG. Hope it isn't all schemers and thieves.

    Cheers

    Luton

yer l own the 51 pan that was on ebay recently , got lots of real dumb questions, real dumb offers, got a lot of tyre kickers lookin, 1 offer to part swap for a 1974 land rover, 1 offer to swap for a 10K mountain bike , yes its not an error 10K maintain bike, but it did have some carbon fibre, some just want to be your friend, and so on , l wont go on about the other crazy stuff & offers, but there are a lot of silly people out there!! The guy that bought it hasnt been heard of since, got a couple of deceptive emails over the course of a fortnight about payment but it never happened, im going to list it again with a few changes to the wording & leave out my contact number that way l should only get a hand full of silly stuff to answer....
