Got my V-Twin big bore kit today and it comes with James brand base and head gaskets.  Just wanted to ask whether these are any good or should I opt for HD gaskets?

Seems to be a bit of a consensus that James gaskets are the way to go that's great.

Mick - ended up getting the V-Twin Manufacturing 1200 kit with dish top Wiseco 9.5:1 pistons, Kit comes with James head gaskets and Hastings rings.

On inspection of the jugs the castings and machining look pretty good.  Overall I'm pretty happy with the look of this kit.  $570 AU delivered.  Decided to go for a mixture of black jugs with silver heads hope that works out ok?

I'm getting it fitted on Monday so will let everyone know how it goes.
