Well  12 months after selling my road king I need another harley and have my heart set on a denim black street bob

what is a fair price to pay for a 07-08 bike with less then 10 000  klm on it

and does any one know one for sale

I like the rear guard on the earlier ones and like the black engine more then the silver so hench the years required would concider gloss black

    advise appreciated in advance

    Kanka,

I paid $23,000 for my 08 Street Bob, it had 4k on the clock when I got it in Jan this year.  It already had the a/c and exact pipes and colour that I wanted.  I was just like you I like the look of the '08 and before much better than the '09.  Although the '10 model now has a black motor again not silver which looks better.

Don't know of any for sale, I found mine on Bikesales and then I actually bought it off ebay.

I'd say about 1000 bucks delivered.
And consider it sold for that price.
Let me know when you're bringing it - there may even be a beer in it for ya.

I'd stab at 18 to 21 if stock
and if there are a few about.

21 to 24 if special, modded, or you just really want it.

Mmmm got me thinking , i've got a 2008 st bob , when i bought it my riding was mainly on my own did'nt know too much about Harleys and took freinds advice the dyna was the better handling , bought the street bob simply because i liked the look better and the other model i liked the fat bob had forward controls to long for me , so bought the bob .
Riding changed i now go two up a lot i found the bob to be shit on long two up rides , so bought a rocket tourer , great bike but finding it a bit too big for me , . Thought i maight trade one in for a road king and sell the other  have one bike does all , or simply sell both and get a road king , ( probably lofty's when he gets rid in a couple of weeks ha ha only kidding mate )

Missis says i should keep the bob for solo riding, and just harden the fuck up , and get used to the triumph , ( translated that means stay out the pub and take her riding more )

Bsicly mate i'm undecided but if i got a good price , offered . one bike and money in the pocket could sway me

So it's 2008 street bob , black but not demin
    Passenger backrest and seat
s and s pipes (Originals include)
Race tuner ( came with some box but no disc)
progresive rear shockers 412 (originals included)
matching flame highway pegs and front rear pegs
    flame grips
    matching flame grips
7000 KLM of easy riding mainly cos i'm a shit rider ha ha (ride within your means and all that )
    11 MONTH Sa REGO

I think that covers all , just more food for thought , given the price and klm the 2007 model will probably be a better buy , because i would'nt come that low on mine ,was in fact offered 22 for it and knocked it back ( to be honest mainly because i did'nt want to deal with the people who wanted to buy it ) on the road king well depends what you are gonna do with it i supose.

Food for thought , the bob is a great bike , but for me one bike does all appeals to me more ,

Oh just one other little thing , i would'nt sell to anyone of this forum UNLESS they picked out someone indipendent , had the bike THOUROUGHLY checked  and were 100 % sure it was  in the condition they would  expect

aNY WAY GOOD LUCK WITH WHAT YOU BUY
