Some shots taken before and after fitting PCIII and Dyno tuning. Note the yellow/orange flame indicating the lean mixture, and then the nice blue indicating a better mixture.

They're amazing shots. You can sure tell the difference. Is it normal to get flames out of the pipes like that, I've heard you need to put a spark plug in them to get that?

I videod the session and grabbed the stills from that. It'd be impossible to get the timing right with a stills camera.

Uncle Ho. It's a noisy experience, and you have to be prepeared ro see your bike get nailed to redline a few times.

    Hi Noit,

had the same prob after my bike was dynod, decided to muck around myself after reading info on US HD forums re decel back fire and popping. I've got the PC111 usb so loaded the software in my puter and set the the thing up with battery and usb cable, increased the zero throttle setting to +15% over the whole rev range, now theres only a bit of popping, nothing like I was getting before.

There is also the possibility that the exhaust gasket is leaking, that can cause backfire.

I think it's more noticable when louder pipes are put on and engine tune is upset.

    Hey guys.

Sorry, been on Holidays for a week. Did ya miss me (not)  ?

Surly; results were roughly 77 on Hp and Ftpds. Pretty lame by comparison to some of the builds on this site, but it will do me for now.

Today; Yep good shots of Pete. I videod the tune, and I had some mpegs but can't find them.  As far as I know no pictures taken of me, although the paparazzi won't leave me the fuck alone !

    Cheers

I have an 07 Fatty and soon after I got it run in I wacked on a set of S&S mufflers. It was popping on decel badly. Got a Racetuner and hi flo air filter fitted and since then no popping at all.

Prior to the S&S mufflers being fitted the bike was running in tune fine, little bit black exhaust but soon as the S&S mufflers went on the backpressure decreased and the bike leaned out a bit more than I would have liked. Now the bike runs good, rich but not to rich. The increase in power and torque is noticable and it is enough for what I want.

    Cheers
