    I just bought a Lepera bare bones - not everyone's cup of tea :) In Aus I was quoted $480 AUD delivered. Or (what I paid) $215 AUD (converted from US dollars) delivered from a US supplier... I'd be willing to pay a little more to keep the dollars in Aus, and even a little more if it was a totally Aus product, but currently Aus dealers are slitting their own throats.

    Enforcer, I just paid $175 US for a Mustang Vintage Solo seat. It will be arriving in the next few days.

    From the research I did, many claimed the Mustang to be the most comfortable.

    Not sure how it will look on the bike in the flesh though. Soon find out i guess.

    The thing that your forgetting is Corbin has the Seat listed at $399.00 US, Your buying it from at Aust Agent at RETAIL $620.00 AU. Ok The Dollar is strong right now but that changes every day.
    Coverting $399.00 US today is $435.00 AU ,
    Because your buying it from the Agent they have to include Duty and Freight to get it here and last 10% GST.
    The other part of it is that VPW has a Wholesale price as they sell Corbin Seat though Motorcycle Dealer Ships across the country If they give you that price the Dealers would kick up Big Time.

    Now The difference between Corbin and Mustang, Corbin are LEATHER, Mustang are Vinyl

    How do I know all this  ?????

    Im Ian Walker, VPW

    If you tell me at the time that your a Forum Member, or a Member of any other Motorcycle Club . I normally knock of 10%

    The only trick to a Leather Seat is that you must use some type of Leather Treatment to protect it,

    leather always looks nice (and smells even better) but needs to be looked after.... still at a third of the price the vinyl is always a good option.... plus I didn't like the seam across the middle of the seat with the Corbin and still think that the Mustang has better depth and therefore support... my 2c

    Not all Corbin Seat have a Seam in the Centre, It is only found on Seats that have a Deep Curve as it is need to shape the Seat

    they look pretty cool, but don't have the support offered by the Mustang. The shape is not that far off stock and had some real back problems with stock

    I have 3 seats now and pretty much always ride with this solo, even 800klms Bermagui round trip.
    Any small flat solo seat like this will give you two problems;
    1) Bit of dead-arse round the back/tailbone as you have'nt got any back support.
    2) Risk of being thrown off when you throttle it from standing start - due same reason.
