(Logo: Buell) Today is a sad day in American motorcycling history. Erik Buell announced in an emotional videocast that the Buell Motorcycle Company will no longer produce motorcycles. Details on their relationship with Harley-Davidson was not disclosed during the videocast with the exception that all warranty work would continue to be provided in accordance with terms per market.     Today is a sad day in American motorcycling history.

    Erik Buell announced in an emotional videocast that the Buell Motorcycle Company will no longer produce motorcycles. Details on their relationship with Harley-Davidson was not disclosed during the videocast with the exception that all warranty work would continue to be provided in accordance with terms per market.

    Buell has made some amazing contributions to the motorcycling community and won some outstanding titles.  It was nice to see the little American sport bike company go up againt the imports with their massive infrastructures and still be able to take away the gold.

    the XB9 & XB12 were & are great bikes , they are awesome bikes to ride through a set of twisties "sad to see the company fold"..
