Can somebody tell me if 07 up standard sporty seats are compatable with the nightster/ iron?? part number 52608-07. ( is it just tank size that will jeopodise the fit?)

If the seat is off an 07 it will fit a nightster or iron... but you will have a gap at the front of the seat. The same gap that the nightsters come with stock. I have a seat designed for a custom sporty with the large tank on my nightster because I like the look the gap creates. If you don't like the gap then you need to get a seat designed for the 12.5l tank.

Glad I could help... if it is a pillion seat, you may need to purchase an additional fender seat nut kit. Not sure on that one...
