ho hum , had to go via the hume to do some work at Tumut ... heard from a couple of seperate sources that some bandits , also travelling North were giving grief to other motorcyclists ..... anyone else hear this ? stupid if it did happen . philip is was a great event this year . bring on 2010 and Casey's 4th win !
We returned to Adelaide via The Great Ocean Road and Grampians (with a fuel stop at Mick's Pub) and the lack of policing the roads was noted. On the two day 1,450 km trip home, only one copper was spotted, and he was attending to a ricer that spudded into a gaurd rail on the GOR.
Kept running into a large contingent of WA riders (Harleys, Triumphs , and Jappa's) with a Toyota 4x4 & trailer (anyone here?) making staedy progress home.
Maybee the Vic Government spent there overtime allowance on policing the Island.
