stock compression ratio question for new TC96" motors

Gday fellas, I know the stock CR is low.  But If I put Andrews 26 cams in and pull the heads to get them cc'ed/decked and use a .030" cometic head gasket...... what is the "ideal" CR I should be aiming for? 9.5:1? or 10:1? or something in between?

I have decided against doing a big bore build in favour of just cams and a bump in compression. Bike is 2010 Bagger.

    Cheers, berms.

hi. the andrews 26H  will go in with-out  pulling the heads,   the cam is not that hot  the timings are short  durations, to pull a heavy bike but the lobe centre is not so early  at inlet L.C. =102 degs & exh @ 106 degs  L.C.  it will come on at about 1500 to 2,200 rpm ,  would pull good midrange only  to upper mid  is good for a heavy bike  if you want the pull down lower in the revs look for a inlet  L.C. of 98 to 101 degs ,  the new 44H cam  has wider cam timings  but a inlet  L.C. of 100 degs & exh L.C. 106 deg will give a good spread of power  mid & upper rev range  9.5 to 9.8 comp  ratio bring the power slightly lower in the revs range . but don't go too high in the C.R if its a touring  heavy weight bike . cheers
