09 Fatbob curently running SE slip ons and SE air filter and has been mapped by dealer(SEST) . Runs good and no issues.  I have V& H two into 1 bigradius and SE Heavy Breather orederd together with software and cable to remap myself or i can get a map from US that suits. V & H have arrived but the other bits are  a couple of weeks away. Given that i have read a lot of comment that you dont need to remap if you are just changing pipes would it be ok to fit the pipes and run with the SE standard breather and the same map for a week or two. When the heavy breather arrives i would then fit and remap at that point. I imagine i may get so,e decel popping which would be annoying but is it damaging? Thanks in advance

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Took it for a run and checked plugs, as expected they are white (lean) altho the base ring is sooty black which indicates rich so i understand. Plan to remap next week when software arrives but have 150 klm ride planned for before this. Mostly 80 to 90 kph stuff with very little stopping starting hopefully. I read that the ecm goes into open or closed loop (one or the other ) and will revert to stock map and the o2 sensors will adjust if it thinks its too lean or getting close to the limit for heat etc. Is this correct? or should i just cancel ride (its a charity ride for breast cancer and i dont want to let people down as they are short on bikes Cheers
