Just wondering if anyone can help me, i am looking at buying the Nolan N43 Trilogy helmet, but cannot get it in aus cause they dont ship em here, i can get one from the US but it is only DOT approved , would this be legal for use in aus?

ok thanks for the input guys, i guess i should also ask if anyone out there has ever been stopped by a cop & had their helmet looked over to make sure it's legal, i've been pulled over a few time (RBT-clean evey time) but not once have they ever looked at my helmet, would it void your insurance to wear one, i wouldn't think so cause by the time the paperwork gets done you could show em your legal helmet anyway or would it be something the cops would look at at the scene?
wouldn't risk it brother...especially if you are at fault in an accident...too much of a risk... IMO
