Too risky to run a US spec PC-V map for a 30km ride?

Hey Fellas, I am going to order a  "package deal" from the US company Fuelmoto which comes with full exhaust system, intake and PC-V with a downloaded map (US spec) of the same bike with a very close intake/exhaust set up - dyno tuned......

I would like to install the parts myself.  Will this be OK to ride with for 30kms from my place to the Dyno centre to get a custom tune?  Or just too risky being a US based map?

PS I'm sticking with the PC-V because thats what my tuner works with and I definitely want it tuned on the dyno vs trying to do it myself.

    Thanks for any input.

    Berms,

A US map won't be perfect because of differences in things like the specific gravity of the fuel but it will certainly be close enough to get you from home to the dyno shop.

Thanks Surly, I think it has auto tune as well, but I'm not quite sure that the short trip to the dyno will give it enough time to really "auto tune" anything?

Anyways, as long as it is close enough not to run dangerously lean or anything then I'm happy.

    Cheers
