Has anbody got a Sundowner Seat , the guys at the shop here tell me it is the most comfortable seat for me and the pillion , it is to go on a 1200 custom ?

I had my standard sport seat changed over to a sundowner.. it was a second hand swap, meant for a 06 sporty, I have an 07.. so the bracket fit was not quite right, but a bit of fiddling got it there.. in anycase, the difference is amazing.. much more comfort and helped bring me forward a fraction so could sit better for all controls.. no more shifting in the seat after take off. Im actually considering another seat with backrest next.. but have to say. it's well worth getting ride of the standard stock seat they come with and going for the broader,lower more comfy ones.. good luck.. ck

Thanks Guys . Up and forward is ok i,m a bit on the short side 5 ft 8  inchs and 90 kgs the guts is a bit on the big side

Well that tells the story sounds like i wont get the sundowner . apart from the Drag Specialties Seat, what other choises do i have ?

I have a Genuine Sundowner seat on my 08 Sportster along with a mid height sissy bar and Sportster/Dyna deluxe backrest pad and 5 bar rack all detachable.

My Wife is very happy with the pillion comfort and the riders seat area is very comfortable also.

Never got the seat , at the time i was looking at getting all the mods done on the bike when i brought it , but due to the world finacial crisis my small business has gone down hill so i,m just trying to hang in there and survive . So i did not even get the bike . it,s driving me crazy i need a bike but i have to wait it out
