I have the stock standard tyres on my 08 1200 custom. Even though I have heaps of tread, the rear tyre is very slippery in the wet.. Can any of you recommend a tyre that grips real well in the wet?

hi, metzelers have always been good in the wet from the 70's even to now, avons are not too good in the rain , ? bridgstone are the best all round very good ( BT45 ),& the cheapest $, cheers.
Just had my first serious ride in the wet (2010 Iron) with the standard Dunlops, only 300ks on the clock and a lot of deep surface water on the roads. They went a lot better than I expected but braking was hard to judge because the Iron brakes are pretty average. Lost the tail a few times under brakes but I didn't think it was the tyres. Reading your comments Sprocket maybe it was.
