I thought it was only my local MC Ds and KFC that pulled that shit. To be fair McDs here is a crapload better for giving a full order than our local KFC, which manages to miss at least one item 2 out of 3 times we visit - though visits are rare these days.

When the Maccas store opened here a few years ago, I eventually gave in and went and tried the cardboard tasting crap. As stated above it gave me the shits and I had to go and use the dunny. I was quite surprised how grubby it was considering it was still a new shop. Most of the kids that work there wouldn't have a clue how to clean a bathroom, as we all know. Anyway I wrote a letter of complaint....got a standard reply...bugga me, no free meal for a month.
They have a Hungry Jacks 70km up the highway and that is more popular, from what people say in conversation. Better burgers.

Back in the 70's we used to drive or ride to Adelaide on a Saturday night to get a hamburger, 2 and a half hours away. Times have changed.
