Quick update on Sumpoil, Hes in good form and awaiting more news from the doctors tomorrow. He had the pleasure of Ubs and Monarofan as well tonight,good on you blokes. There waiting for his lung to puff back up naturally because they don't really want to manually do it for fear of making the hole bigger. So still a waiting game. Hes sick of being in the same position and his back is giving him grief. Swifty.

Quick update on Sump. Hes a lot better tonight. He recons he got up the sarv and had a walk around. He didn't get to short of breath and when he layed back down he cleared a fair bit of fluid out of his chest cavity thru the tube. His lung has a bit more room now and he says hes defiantly feeling the benefits. He had his xrays and is waiting to hear what they think of this last pic. Fingers crossed he will be out by the end of the week. Cheryl on the other hand is starting to crash.

Sorry guys but i cant get up to see Sump tonight,wifeys got the car at her work and wont knock off till 11.30. its just started pissing down here and im not to keen on going out in it on me bike. I should but im not that bloody good. If it clears up a bit later i will.
I have no updates for you today. Just thought id tell you a funny thing i noticed the other day. Sumps only recently got himself a new big twin. He tells me hes only got 200ks on the clock. So the nurse come in the other day and pulls his bed covers back and heres Sumpoil still waring his bloody jeans and his HD belt with his new bikes keys hanging off it. those keys have not left his person yet. The xray guys have given up on em and are shielding them so the xray still works. Cheryl got him a pair of tracky daks the other day but those bloody keys are still with him.

If anyone in this area is able to take over for tonight please PM me and I will give you his surname so you can track him down He is in ward 2D at the PA here in Brisbane. Hes hanging for a beer and doesn't mind a gold he says. I was going to sneak him one in tonight. Swifty

Just got back from the PA and what Bucket says is spot on. Hes on suction now. Top idea Bucket you tell me if your in town mate. You have a place to stay here and you will want for nothing .

G'day all, don't get excited because it's not Sump, just his son. Thought I'd do you all the courtesy of filling you in on recent news. Although his recovery isn't as quick as we were expecting when we arrived, the lung is slowly getting better, but must be left to nature to knit the hole together as they cannot perform surgery on him for fear of puncturing a second lung.
Although he's still in some discomfort there's nothing really wrong with him now except a bit of pain that goes with having a tube in your side. He's able to get himself up and around now; not easy but at least he can get up and go for a piss out of bed now.
We won't be attending the wedding and his other son has been notified of that so we're still just waiting on the right offers to help us get home.
From Sump himself, he wanted to extend a very grateful word of thanks to everybody that's offered to help in any way, including poor old Bucket...

Will let you know if there is any news and if Swifty doesn't post I'll try to.
