Hi Guys

Been talking with some of the Boyz from the Sydney HOG Chapter

and some of us are thinking of going to Patong Phuket for the Bike & Tattoo show

in April 2010

The Plan is to go over around their New year which goes for 3 days

then the Bike & Tattoo show kicks off and then come home day after ANZAC day

Basically, two weeks in total.

I went in 2009 and just got the tail end of the Bike Show and ANZAC day is great

meeting up with other Aussies around Lillys Bar in OTOP.

If anyone else is interested - drop me a line

I was hoping to get there for their New Year (Sonkran) which I believe is the 13th April
But I'll check and post it up as soon as I find out.
I dont normally book airfares till a month before and accommodation
I found it better to book when i get there.
Just seeing who's interested. KC might have to put in a big order for HD Forum Tshirts
so if you dont have one you can wear one over there !

Jeez would be tops. Funny they are have bike show and cruise at same time as Songkran - hope they don't mind getting wet!!

It's a way off so there is a chance I can go and I know mates that are in HOG are going. Struth. Have to see how the annual leave is looking by then.

I was there a couple of months ago and had a couple of beers at Nic's...   I also got chatting to one of the guys and he took me out the back to the workshop. Nic has a "Captain America" replica and the winning bike of 2008 Bike week in the shop... Not to mention the 2 ferrari's this guy owns..  Cheeck out the 360 front and rear tyres//  Mad as..

I was thinking of setting up an itinerary for April 2010
Just wanted to get an idea if anyone from the forum is interested.

I know its early but April in Thailand is a busy time of the year.
I dont think accommodation will be a problem
but i would organise something prior to leaving.
C & N Hotel is pretty good. Excellent location ( just across the road from Soi Bangla)
and very reasonable about 1000 THB ( AUD $30 ) per night.
And they have free airport pick up.

Jetstar doesnt have any deals at the moment

Airfares would set you back around $800

New year is on the 13th of April I think and celebrations start from 11th.  ( Please correct me if I'm wrong )
Then the Bike & Tatts show start straight afterwards.
