hi Iv got a problem how do you wire up a 1984 sporster tacho to a 1994 sporster Iv had a go at it and no luck and it is giving me the *hits any one know  help !!!

Do a search on Google and see if you can find a wiring diagram for both an 84 and 94.  That should tell you how to hook it up.  there's a '94 on this page:
