My new lifters arrive this week so I will then have all the gear to change my cams, lifters and rocker covers and cam inner bearings. Now the thing is I dont have the special tools (cam locking tool and inner bearing removal/insertion tool) to do the job, checked prices and for a one of job they are quite expensive, and to tell you the truth I would be a little apprehensive changing the bearings by myself. Scotty offered to help me which is fantanstic but it's a long ride from the east coast to Adelaide and I wouldnt get a chance till next year and obviously would prefer to get the cams in asap.

Anyone on the east coast done the job before and have the special tools required and would be willing to teach me how it's done. I do want to learn otherwise I would get a indy here to do it. Wouldnt expect help for nothing either and would compensate with beer/bourban in whatever quantities requested, or beer/bourban tickets.
