Bugger, obviously I did that wrong, but the instructions say to add the link to photobucket with the IMG code into the text of the post.  Anyone out there able to offer a poor confused bloke a tip?

When on photobucket click once in the textbox that is labelled "IMG Code" until you see the little "Copied" text come up, then paste that into your post. The text you paste in should look like a web URL enclosed with IMG in square brackets. Use the preview option in your post before you save to see if it's worked.

Thanks for the tip Kingchops and I have followed all the instructions and the preview works but the bloody thing won't post.  I might give up, I'm too ugly to show you my photo anyway.
