    Hi all,

Have noticed the popping and backfire on my fxdc getting worse, about 8000km on my bike now.

Spoke to a very cluey mate last night, who advised me that i needed a bigger air intake, and suggested a Hypercharger?

Also, he told me about doing the EFI. He has the screaming eagle race tuner.

Can anyone give their comments on these products, and tell me the best/cheapest supplier please?

Need to get this done soon, as i dont want to do any valve damage.

    Appreciate your thoughts Scotty m8.

    Thanks in advance.

p.s I want to keep my S&S pipes, love them.

Firstly, thanks for your prompt reply Scotty.

The mate i was talking to, said the kuraykan pro r hypercharger was the thing to get, would give me a big increase in power, also wouldnt restrict my leg room like some of the other products.

Yeah, as you said re the popping and backfire, mate said i need to tune/map the ecu to eliminate these. He used the sert, and said he found it really good at a fairly cheap price.

My budget isnt that flash at the moment, due to having just spent 20 grand on a holiday for the family to my former homeland back in Scotland.

Have seen on here that a lot of people favour the TTS that you are selling. I would certainly consider ordering one from you, if thats the way to go. I dont have a laptop though. Never done any tuning or major work to my bike, ive got just basic mechanical skills i suppose.

I just need to find out the differences between the TTS and SERT, and if i was capable of doing it myself before spending.

    Sorry to be a pest.

    Cheers, Scozzy.

TTS is much easier than a SERT, with the TTS you can load a canned map then tune your map to your bike no matter what you have fitted, can't do that with a SERT with out a lot pissing around and costly Dyno time.

    Hey Scozzy

I have an 08 RK with a standard hypercharger with stinger trap door, put it on at the same time as I did pipes and TTS so cannot say what the exact performance value of the hypercharger alone is worth. Bike however is running great. Bought hypercharger ($285US incl post) & pipes from www.realhog.com, TTS from J. Wadsworth as Scotty was not selling these at the time, the dollar is good so you can get these items at good prices from the states at the moment.

Hi fellas, im sort of new to this efi tuning business i want to invest in a tune have been reading all the forums for months now and i am leaning towards the TTS as it sounds like my cup of tea im handy with a laptop and am a fitter and turner by trade also have worked on cars most of my life so know bit about engines, jsut wondering about the screaming eagle heavy breather versus hyper charger as ive heard bad comments about hyperchargers, i like the look of them but i am looking towards the heavy breather kit i like the look of them also and have only heard good thnigs about them, any comments would be appreciated thanks

thats what ive heard also, ive heard that the butterflies that are supposed to open upon acceleration actually close and sucks the so called force fed air through a hole in the bottom, thats why i think ill go the S/E heavy breather at least it is force fed and high flow,

You will make more power with a Mo Flow over a Hyper Charger
