Thanx Dazza, Im hoping to use the original swingarm and go to a 180 tyre, i saw a 200 with a chain but the chain was touching both the tyre and the frame. When i work out what pm is i will do that to Walka. there seems to be a lot of advice but id really like to see them in the flesh. at the moment funds wont allow buying the bits you mention but its along term project so who knows Thanx again

Burnzi or Dazza can you give me some more info on how to fit a 180 rear on a 1995 softail? I searched the link that was posted in this thread but all the pics are deleted and i can't find Dazza on the members section to PM him?????????

If anyone has info on how to do this i would appreciate it. Does anyone know how i can access the old photos that Dazza aka Grumyps garage posted in an old link? Apparently they were pics of a nightrain that he customised with the 180 rear and a fat front tyre. It says that they have been removed or deleted.
    Cheers.

Thanks Angry1. I take it that's a picture of the bike we are talking about?? If i do this conversion am i able to put a later model harley bobtail fender on it or is this not possible because of the fender struts etc?? Also what is the rough cost involved in doing this mod? How much cheaper is it than buying a 200 wide arse kit?
Let me know, and if its a goer I'll send a slab of Coronas to your doorstep.

Sounds easy enough. I'll speak to Walka and see what he did too. I'm gunna check out some more of these 200 wide arse kits and then i'll see which one is the better option.
