Anybody put O2 sensors in pre 2006 bikes

    Finally got my stuff from the US for installing O2 sensors today (& thanks to DodgyDave for the weld-in bungs). Looking at some stuff & I,m confused as to what stuff goes where.

    1. Does anybody who has done this know if there is special cable needed for the connection of the sockets (P/N 72007-05).

    2. Where does Terminal Socket (P/N 72076-00) connect to as mentioned previously I only need 2 of these.

    3. What are the little yellow wire seals for (P/N 72011-05).

    4. Is there special tools needed for this installation.

    Yes I have a service manual, but it's for 05 models.
    Is there a special cable that is needed or can I just use automotive cable

    Ok these next questions are more of a safe than sorry question.

    1 wire from each sensor connects to terminal pins (P/N 72076-00) at the ECM & the other wire from each sensor connects to ground.

    Are there specified slots in the ECM plug for these terminal pins (P/N 72076-00).

    On my 2008 FHLX, the rear O2 sensor connects to pin 46 and the front O2 sensor connects to pin 66 on the ECM - I don't have a circuit of your model.

    If you have Mastertune look in the Tuning Guide Appendix A. Everything you need is there.

    Scotty - Thanks for all this, looks like everything has been explained, will tackle this job in the coming weeks. Will let you know how I go

    Steve - Looked at Mastertune Tuning Guide Appendix A, doesn't tell me anything unless I,m looking at the wrong revision.

    The wiring info is on page 82 of Mastertune handbook version 1.2 - can send you a copy if you PM me your email or fax.

    Can also help you with terminating the cables if necessary.

    Thanks Guys

    I was looking at a diffrent Appendix A. I don't have my SERT upgrade to TTS as yet, hopefully today or tomorrow but I take it all the above information is in the package when I recieve it.

    Also I was thinking of running an MT6 file for the time being until I put the sensors in. How does a 127HD019 map sound for what I have.
