Not a great deal of notice for some

I will be attending rain or hail.

I would've loved to have gone to this (and doubled it with seeing a nice little piece of fluff o' mine play in her women's soccer final at Bendigo too) but the Storm have asked me to go watch them pick up Arthur Summons and Norm Provan and help them cart the loot back to Melbourne. So I'll be in Sydney. Damn.

Im not going, It's going to be a fizzer, It hasn't been advertised very well and I dont think that there will be many Exhibitors, all the people that I ideal with in the Industry didn't know that it was on.
On Saturday at Newstead there is a Hot Rod and Bike Show, Check that out,,, or head down to Euroa on Sunday for their Bike and Car Show ,thats where I will be.

Lots of nice bikes, didn`t look like a fizzer to me, nice photo`s. Only some dodgy looking characters.

 

it was $15 to get in that was o.k.
most of the booths in the hall were filled so the organisers must have been happyish
Harley city had a couple of the new 2010 models on display, the fatboy & an iron, + others
a few chopper guys, a few euro's a few japs, a good mix of stuff,
The car park had a bloody good assortment bout 1000 bikes,
there was some good ausy made waxed cotton jackets in black for sale,
plenty of biker stuff!! a good country show!!
Kiwidave looked rather dapper in his sales uniform,
Twas a good day out !! good company!! a good ride!!

Hay not shoot me, If the promoters had any Brains and PROMOTED IT ,
I would of been there with bells on as an Exhibitor.
I work for Victoria's Biggest Importer of Aftermarket Products for Motorcycles. I also would of also bought Mike Corbin and other US Manufactures along, They live of these types of events .
It's a huge investment for any comany . You need Stock and Displays, Transport to get it there, Staff to man the Booth, some where for them to stay, Feed them. Our Company dose the Summer Nats and the AAAA Show every Year and we dont get much change out of 10 grand for each event.
Australia needs events like this. But they need to be Promoted

I'm sorry I couldn't get up there now, but my old dad rang me saturday morning and asked me to give him a hand move some stuff.

Had to make do with a run up to reefton and a couple of beers in the afternoon.
