So by November, Victoria will have new rules to be heavily $policed$ that kids under 8 cannot ride as pillion passengers.

RIP the ride for the young'uns or sick kids for a trip round the block, or at a day out.  I thought the feet/peg rule was sufficient.  Obiou$ly not.

Another straw to break our humpy backs.  This inept Victorian ungovernment cannot be turfed fast enough.  If they somehow stay in again, I've a good mind to be the one departing.

well , i know of one mate who thought it was ok to take his 4 yo ( yes thats right ! ) on rides .... personally i thought he was a fuckwit. i spose some rules have to be made just to try and stop fuckwits like him ....

i also note that there has been a law about child restraints and child seats in cars , been in place for a fuckin long time ... i reckon the laws have ignored the young bike passenger up until now ...

my eldest is 9 and i dont think he will be coming along til hes a bit older

Not allowed in the front seat of a car until you are 12 as far as i know, i wouldn't like to take my kids out until they were over 9.
