im looking for part numbers for....

1977 fxe shovel 1200

1. primary chain

2. nylon shoe

3. stator ( how do i know what amps)

My parts manual only goes up to 76 if thats any good to you, the plug on the stator will tell you which year and what amps by how many pins and configuration.

the stator has to match the reg/rec
Harley do this by changing the plug
If you are using the same reg/rec, you will have to buy the correct year range stator
as in 29965-70 4 pin
29965-75 2 pin male
29965-81(a) 2 pin female

you could try fitting a 32 amp set-up, but the wires exit the stator one pole apart on the genuine stator (and possibly the aftermarket ones) so they do not fit well in the cases (the later cases have a wide v to allow for this)

chain is 40007-36a everyone knows that number, as it covers many decades

shoe is 39976-65b
