mate, the questions you have asked have been answered a thousand times over on here, best to try an form your own opinion from what info you can get.
For me on my new softy, I did the 1600k run in service at the stealer and will now wait until the 8000k service to change to synthetic for the engine, just to make sure it's bedded in well. I am at 4k now and will be changing the tranny and primary over to redline heavy shock and primary case oils within a week or so, mainly because they don't do them at the 1600 run in service and I don't like the current clunkyness of its operation and from what I have read redline oils will help this.
IMO personally I wouldn't bother with the 150 km oil change, but also being a mechanic can see it's value as worthwhile .... up to you if you think spending the extra is worth it.
