Was previously looking at either the Progressive 412 Series or Fournales for my 2007 FXDB, but have seen a lot more YSS lately and not that they have an outlet in Adelaide www.yss-australia.com/.

 

Has anybody tried YSS on their Harley's?

I have a set of Z366 TRL on my 08 RKC. $1000.00, not cheap but got good service and help from Walter through the post and over the phone.
Like alot of things I get for the bike, its a bit of suck and see and this time I reckon I am on a winner.
These babies have; pre load adjustment, damping adjustment and hight adjustment. Walter set the spring rate up for the bike weight and riding load pretty well, the 60 click damping adjustment is noticable on a 5 click change and because I raised the bike height at the front by 20mm the hight adjustment was real handy.
This RK has no problems in the twisties with good handling or clearance. I also have gold valve emulators in the front as well but I think YSS have there own emulators.

I cant compare them to fournales or progressive because I have not fitted those shocks to the bike but I am happy as with them because they work really well for me.

ho,progressive are better then stock ,fournales and ohlins are top range with 4nales you have a trial period then can c send em back ,havent heard bout yss but that they dont measure up to ohlins ,ikons are another ask aka on those ,nuttse has got a new set of steel bodied ohlins waitin on a feedback .better springs or emulator are a must after upgrading the rear.get something that can be serviced in oz ,those ohlins i got from karl best thing i did to the dyna

 I fitted YSS RZ362s to my 09 FXD about a 1000ks ago and have had no problems to date, YSS match the spring rate to your weight and riding style and also will custom build the length you want when you order, something Progressive dont do (i think). I can report a massive improvment over stock, but anything would be i guess. I havent tried Progressive but have heard some people complain of harshness.
