Good increase you got FYO, a mate here has a 952 twin cam wide glide, he gets similar HP & TQ but his TQ starts earlier he uses s7s 585G & SE CV44 Super Trap Supermeg
he run 11.75 110mph 1.6 to 1.7 60ft Cow ' L A cycles in Sydney done his heads and tuned it. when Cow does a dyno he is very paranoid on his weather settings and his dyno is mean at giving out HP he also does timmed WOT runs so you can see how long it took to make the HP & TQ as well as doing a rpm like you have but he prints his out in portrate as the dips show up more the landscape looks nice but harder to see dips he trys to tune out the dips,.
i found if i tunned for power and got a power increase i might only see a MPH gain at the track, but if i tune to make the HP & TQ show up ina quicker time on the timmed WOT run i see gains in ET & MPH.
FYO all you need to do to run 11.7 to 11.9 with that is get your 60ft 1.7 and shift at the right rev also learn to shift quick, don't miss a shift or you might do 13's

FYO, sounds like you were having a bad night with your 60ft, some people like useing second gear to start, when they have bulk Torque, some can't react quick enough for the quick first to second shift, and others think the less times you have to shift the better. everyone is different. i think the old four speed ratchet lid would suit you but you would be breaking gear boxs
when i use a taller gear to start i don't get good traction.
is that the Woods 6H your useing?
