Giving the bike a bit of stick.....gunning it......upin it...... on the way home this arvo and heard a noise that never used to be there. Tried every gear and it was there.

I've checked the bike over for loose bits but there's none.

The reason I checked is the noise sounds like something rattling against a bit of tin. Not real tinny so to speak but more like ...... have you ever stirred a cup of coffee, tea in a stainless steal mug? Something like that.

Noise never used to be there!!

Help!!??

oh and it's coming from the engine area, left hand side

I had a similar noise coming from my Dyna. Took it back to the stealer and they found one of the chain tensioner bolts rolling around inside the primary.
