    yeh i dont know whats goin on with xrated i try ringin and emailing and still no reply cant seem to get anywhere with them

    I never had any trouble with them. Ive got the guys mobile number written down somewhere. I will see if I can try and find it.

    12gage use to sell xrated helmets but I dont know if there still going or not??

    ... did hear a few years back that some snell approved ones were available .... sorry can't remember brand. I was in darwin at the time, some of the locals were buying them.

    Any chance anyone else heard of them ????

    Xrated dont sell the illegal ones anymore they only sell the new peanut and the german style , but i did see some cannon ball style on ebay at the moment .

    There is "allegedly" a shop in Sydney that is modifying the inserts of legal helmets. They take a very small helmet, shave the insert to fit your big boof head and voila legal.

     DuDast and others,

    I have heard that you buy the smallest legal helmet that you can get then ya get the thick end of a baseball bat and pound/work the polystyrene till ya scone fits in, it comes with sticker and all

     Ive been looking at these for a while now and its got me fukked why the novelty helmets are dearer than the legit ones... http://www.gypsyleather.com.au/helmets.html  (reference only).. but saying that is it legal to put the AS  stickers on the illegal helmet
