Thanks for the input guys.... as many know my bike is currently stored with a mate in Brisbane and if i don't start making further changes then I'm likely to sell it and thats the last thing I want at this stage...... so this is what I'm looking to do:-

Pipes - 2:1 but undecided on type

Wheels - powdercoat rims black and fit stainless spokes.. not sure if I will podercoat the hubs

Shocks - progressives on rear and prograssive springs in the forks and whilst I'm at it powdercoat the fork sleeves

Bars - either Burleigh Ram Horns or Roller Bars (black of course)

Controls - forwards (still not found anything I like that is standard 2" or 3" over and not over priced)

So... back on topic, the pipes I have been looking at are:

    1/  D&D 2 into 1 Fat Cat Black) (#)

    2/  Supertrap 2:1 SuperMegs (#827-71574)

3/  Bub Lakester - Black Ceramic (not released yet so not sure I can wait :(  www.bubent.com/Harley-Davidson_Dyna.cfm

4/  RB Racing Pro Pipe (Black)

5/  Vance and Hines Pro Pipe Hi Output (Black)

After having V&H Short Shot Staggards for a couple of years one of my thoughts was to head for longer pipes........ and I am one of tose guys that is looking to mix performance with looks...... and I think that the D&D looks too agricultural but still like them all.

Hope to decide in the coming days whilst the dollar looks good :)

    Hey Uncle HO,

Got one on my Street Bob. LSR 2in 1.
Compared to V&H short shots I've had previously, there is definitely much better bottom end and mid range. Not obnoxiously loud. Has oxygen sensor lags. Now my only big gripe is the quality of finish. We purchased two systems (me and a mate) both black powdercoat finish.
The finish didn't even last 3 month. The finish started to flake off after a few short rides. I've emailed and called RB but their answer was "shit happens". No offer of warranty or repair/replacement. My personal opinion is that the company are "too up themselves". Their shit just "don't stink". "You are lucky to even have our product" attitdue. Personally, unless you get your system in chrome, be prepared to spend $220 for a new ceramic coat.
I had mine recoated by HPC and it's perfect. Not a single mark or imperfection.

    So stay away, unless....

the lakster looks good, don't know if they will scrape or not. they could generate a bit of heat with the pipes up the front there.
