    Hi all

    Boofhead here (AKA Boof).

Top stuff coming up with this forum, it's been a long time coming. I've been on the US HD forums for a couple of years, an dno offence to our amercan mates but it's good to have an Aussie focus.

Had my bike about one and ahalf years and have about 17,000 on the clock.

    Cheers beers

    Boof

    Welcome aboard Boof!

That's one sweet bike, love the mini apes and the side shots.

    Classic avatar too.

    Cheers,

    Ta mate

I like them. They are farking loud though. I wear earplugs when riding anyway.

I love coming up beside the yuppies in their convertibles and the kids in hyundais with bazooka pipes and giving them an earful

I start it up at home

I don't leave for work until 7:00 am normally. I also take it easy around the suburban streets. I'm lucky becuase we aren't in a tightly packed neighbourhood too, and my immediate neighbour rides a bike also.

I drive to work through the colder days of winter and when it's raining as well so it's not like it's every morning.

I've also heard much louder bikes than mine, but with these pipes I think the sound reflects off the road somehow. Being shorter pipes they don't have the deep basey resonance like with slip ons or longer pipes.

The performance gain when I changed from just a Stage 1 download to the PC III was noticeable but not huge, although the main thing was the download has the bike running way lean, so it ran better afterwards. At some stage I'll do a 95 or 98 kit probably so I'll be covered for that also.

I haven't adjusted the PC III myself so in terms of ease of use etc. I can't really comment. I got the Harely mech down here to dynotune.
