UMCQ ride 10th October 2009

    Need some info - please...  My family and I are headed for Lindeman Island for my #1 sons wedding in mid October... We are flying into Brisbane around the 9th October at the latest... I would be keen on attending this ride but to date have had no success in securing a bike for the day, as such, does anyone know of a local hire company that does HD's for a day or two...??? If so please let me know ASAP... I'm guessing if there is one it won't be cheap but what the hell its a bit of a one off holiday eh... 2nd mortgage and all that... he he...

    Also am trying to gauge interest from people up there as to whether or not I should grab an extra suitcase full of FREE Australia Party T-shirts to sell and raise some much needed funds for the Party, please express all/any interest and will try to tee up some place to catch up...

    For anyone unsure of legitimacy, I am the current Secretary of the FREE Australia Party (SA) which can be verified by Admin and/or any number of people at this site or by contacting our office on (08) 8396 3355...

    I will be there along with some others from the Patriots. Then after this ride we are all going to head off down to the VVMQ Tatt show at the Bunker.

     yeah...I'm keen...depends on the Princess Bride though..she'll be flying out to Oregon a few days later....

     

    Sounds like a good day out though.....

     

    Swifty...let me know what the drinks looks like with Sump...Might be able to get the Minister of War and Finance to do some Designated Driving and come down to the Big Smoke for a meal and drinks with you blokes.

    What time at Canungra if I decide to meet you ladies? It'll take about 1hr 15mins to Goodna (just before Ipswich) going via Beaudesert. About an hour straight up Waterford-Tamborine Rd. I'll give you a ring/sms and let you know if I'm coming.

    oh, and I have to work that night too, that's why I asked the route in case I needed to peel off early.

    Hey Swifty... I've only just made the connection to your new username (doh!). Please give my best wishes to Sump and his family. It was a shame to miss him today, especially under those circumstances. Not good to hear his health isn't improving the way hoped also. My thoughts are with him!
