Just fitted the new SE mufflers on my 2008 softail custom

Can anyone tell me a good way to quieten these mufflers down a tad but keep the better sound ?

Quiet compared to most but way louder than stock, maybe just have to get used to them thats all, maybe sound louder because I am on the bike, long as they dont get too much attention from the law.

Hey Greg i dont know about that i have a cop in my estate and he would love to catch up with me.

And i take it easy through the estate .

Just a bit of sarcasm there finny, they love to book us for all kinds of things.

But the SE Muffs wont draw too much attention......... if ya ride with a mate who has V&H pipes!!!!

Stick something in your ears, take your chance and enjoy being just a bit different.

Change those SE pipes get some Vance without baffles; Warm it up in the street at five in the morning wake up all your neighbours, then ride it like you stole it, set off every car alarm , then put the SE pipes back on .......No more problem the neighbourhood is yours.

I will do that and see if it works but everyone has bloody guns in this area !!!
