Does anyone know if it is ok to use Dot 5 brake fluid instead of Dot 4 in late model bikes. I understand that it doesn't affect your paintwork if you spill it, the workshop manual says only Dot 4 but a friend is running it in a 95 softy and hasn't had a problem with it. Any thoughts anyone ??
